On Tuesday the 24th of June 2014, Fundación Equipo Humano, represented by Stefano Modestini and Anastasia Lambrou, participated in the EU info-day based on the programme Horizon2020 and its good practices on financing aspects organized and offered by the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). It is aiming at taking great ideas from lab to the market and It has many sections like: Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership, Societal Challenges, Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation, Science with and for Society and the complementary research programme for nuclear research and training Euratom.
The conference was divided in two parts. In the first part there was an introduction to the programme and the new rules of participation. The organizers deepened in the new data about the financial regulatory rules of the programme and all of the financial aspects were very well explained. The conference closed with a debate about best practices where the participants could also solve their queries.
