Between the 13th and 14th of May, the meeting of Green Point Project, which is co-funded by the European Project of Education Leonardo Da Vinci, took place in Newcastle(UK). Fundacion Equipo Humano was represented at the meeting by Cecile Sauvage and Stefano Modestini.
Green Point provides a training resource to SMEs in the metal processing sector that is accessible for all types and levels of individuals working in the sector. The GreenPoint initiative aims at creating a new competent environmental figure for the metalworking sector, specially focusing on SMEs with low-qualified workers, in order to foster a green-working culture within the sector and to provide new qualified staff, able to manage the environmental performance of the business. Vocational training will be the key process for meeting the needs of the sector by up-skilling «GreenPoints».
The Consortium is led by the Spanish company FEMEVAL (Federacion Empresarial Metalurgica Valenciana) in collaboration with 5 other partners: Fundación Equipo Humano (Spain), Environmental Academy (UK), Instytut Technologii Eksploatacji (Poland), Unternehmen für Bildung (Germany) and GNFA (France).
