Company Description

Fundación Equipo Humano (FEH), a private non-profit organisation that develops innovative solutions in training and HR management, is looking for an EU PROJECT ASSISTANT in the access and management of European Funds for the Public and Private Sector. We are looking for young professionals willing to develop their professional career in the field of European projects. No prior experience is required.

The Department of European Project in Fundación Equipo Humano identifies European’s needs and designs and implements international solutions with the support of EU funding opportunities. We are committed to EU projects which have a positive impact on the civil society. Our core projects activities are related to employment, training and education, internationalization, entrepreneurship, mobility of workers, competitiveness, social innovation, environment, climate change, circular economy, creative and social industries, among others. Further details on projects currently implemented will be given during the interview.

The main responsibilities will be the support to the design, presentation, implementation, and management of projects co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+, COSME, SMP, EASI, EURES, Creative Europe, CERV, AMIF, PPPA, INTERREG, ENI CBC MED, Horizon Europe and LIFE programme.

It will be highly valuable experience in works related to the training, human resources, entrepreneurship, SME competitiveness, employability or the education sector.

Job Description and tasks

The work will consist in the support to implement EU project activities and project management following the European programs requirements, including, inter alia:

  • Development of digital presentations, preparation of events or conferences, implementation of focus groups/workshops.
  • Contributing to the draft of timesheets and financial reporting according to European funding program standards.
  • Support in the drafting of reports and information gathering on project implementation.
  • Support in the preparation of meetings, attending meetings and writing minutes.
  • Contributing to the draft of news, posts, review of interviews, review of press releases, support in monitoring of dissemination activities.
  • Support in the day-to-day tasks with the projects such as Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, Mobilise, Erasmus+, LIFE: support in the development of training materials, guides, videos, etc; direct contact with project partners; translations of documents; support in monitoring actions of the projects, etc.
  • Support in the search for new calls, partners, and preparation and negotiation with other entities on the participation of FEH in other projects.
  • Support in designing and writing project proposals.

Requirements

Essential:

  • University degree related to the following fields: administrative and project management, social relations, psychology, law, marketing, business, commerce, political science, translation, or secretarial studies and/or any relevant field of action of the company.
  • Being able to show initiative, grow professionally in Fundación, take responsibilities, problem solving skills and work under pressure in an international working environment (Mandatory).
  • Full availability for international travelling (Mandatory).
  • High level of English, C1 or equivalent (Mandatory).
  • High level of Spanish, C1 or equivalent (Mandatory).
  • Ability to function as a team member, build trusted relationships with partners and collaborators, public speaking, effective and efficient communication (Mandatory).

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of European Projects and Programs Management.
  • Knowledge of European regulations applicable to information and publicity for operations under European funds and programs, as well as the European Commission priorities.
  • Highly valuable knowledge in the fields of Training, Education, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Human Resources, Social Innovation, Creative Industries, among others.
  • Digital and IT skills (Moodle, Online Marketing, social media…).
  • Knowledge of other languages, such as French, Italian, German, etc.
  • Experience in Global EU Project Management: administrative, financial, technical and communication execution.
  • Experience in Financial Management: preparation of budgets, analysis of eligibility of expenditure, financial reporting.
  • Experience in works related to public administrations and beneficiaries of European funds, such as councils, chambers of commerce, local action groups.
  • Experience in works related to the training and education sector.

  • You will participate and gain knowledge in disruptive methodologies in the HR field, training methods and techniques.

Note that the wage will be discussed according to the candidate experience during the interview.

A first interview will take place with questions related to your previous experiences. All interviews will take place in the premises of Fundación Equipo Humano (Carrer de Miguel Navarro Escultor, 5, Campanar, 46015 València, Valencia) at an agreed time and date. Online interviews might be an option, but physical interviews are of the outmost importance for the process and a good assessment of candidates.

If your profile is of interest for the job position, a second interview will take place with more specific and oriented questions. A small practical activity might take place.

All interviews will take place in the premises of Fundación Equipo Humano (Carrer de Miguel Navarro Escultor, 5, Campanar, 46015 València, Valencia) at an agreed time and date. Online interviews might be an option, but physical interviews are of the outmost importance for the process and a good assessment of candidates.

A final decision will be made based on the interviews and the feedback obtained. A pre-commitment contract will be signed between Fundación’s legal representative and the candidate.
