A non-profit organisation is looking for a European Union (EU) Project Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in implementing projects funded by the European Union.

Please, note that skills and knowledge on EU Proposal Writing and the motivation to contribute to EU Partnership Building is a strong asset. Additionally, experience working with other types of international, national, and regional funding schemes is also valuable.

Main responsibilities

The main responsibilities will be the support to the design, presentation, implementation, and management of projects co-financed by the European Union through the following programmes:

Erasmus+, SMP, EaSI, EURES, Creative Europe, CERV, AMIF, INTERREG, Horizon Europe and LIFE.

It will be highly valuable to have experience related to training, human resources, entrepreneurship, business, employability, sustainability or the education sector.

Job Description and Tasks

The work will consist in supporting the implementation of EU project activities and project management following the European programmes requirements, including, inter alia:

  • Contributing to the search for new calls, partners, and preparation and negotiation with other entities on the participation of FEH in other projects.
  • Contributing to the development of the design and content of project proposals.
  • Supporting day-to-day project tasks such as Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, EURES TMS, Erasmus+, CERV and LIFE: development of training materials, guides, videos, direct contact with project partners, translations, monitoring actions, etc.
  • Contributing to the drafting of timesheets and financial reporting according to European funding programme standards.
  • Supporting the drafting of reports and information gathering on project implementation.
  • Supporting the preparation of meetings, attending meetings and writing minutes.
  • Contributing to the drafting of news, posts, interviews, press releases and dissemination activities.
  • Developing digital presentations and preparing events and conferences.
  • Implementing focus groups and workshops, including public speaking with diverse target groups.

Requirements

Technical experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a position with duties and responsibilities similar to those described above.
  • University degree related to administrative and project management, social relations, cultural studies, psychology, law, marketing, business, commerce, political science, translation, secretarial studies or any other relevant field.

Languages:

  • English – C1 or equivalent.
  • Spanish – C1 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of French, Italian or German is considered an asset.

Candidates whose profiles match the position will be invited to a first interview during the first five working days after the application deadline.

The interview will focus on previous professional experience.

Interviews will take place at the offices of Fundación Equipo Humano in Paterna (Carrer de Gustave Eiffel, 3, 46980 Paterna, Valencia). Online interviews may be possible, although in-person interviews are preferred.

Selected candidates will attend a second interview with more specific questions. A practical activity may also be included.

The final decision will be based on the interviews and the feedback obtained.

A pre-commitment contract will be signed with the selected candidate.
